Humanity's interest in exploring has been universal. The desire to challenge the boundaries of what we know and where we have been has provided benefits to our society for centuries. Countries and cities have discovered the value of tourism which has changed from a social activity to a merely economic one. Tourism contributes to a huge amount of revenue. It also plays a crucial role to alleviate poverty which is strongly connected to early school leaving. ‘Touropean’ will expose students to a wider and international range of the labor market which could be proved to be a real turning point for their future careers. It will also give them the chance to indulge into the roots of their society. By comparing their own culture with other cultures, they will discover the potential crossroads of a common past.
